Bem Sex-Role Inventory (BSRI) Test

Introduction

The Bem Sex-Role Inventory (BSRI) is a psychological assessment developed by Sandra Bem to measure personality traits traditionally associated with masculinity and femininity. This assessment evaluates how strongly you identify with a variety of personality characteristics. The BSRI does not measure biological sex or gender identity. Instead, it explores behavioral and personality tendencies.

Procedure

You will be shown 60 personality traits one at a time. For each trait, rate how accurately it describes you using a scale from 1 to 7.

  • 1 = Almost never true
  • 4 = Neutral
  • 7 = Almost always true

Participation

Participation is voluntary. There are no right or wrong answers. Respond as honestly and naturally as possible.

Changelog

  • Version 2.1 — Improved BSRI scoring and visualization.
  • Version 2.0 — Added quadrant model and progress tracking.
  • Version 1.0 — Initial release.
